An easy to fit and use padlockable locking device for needle valves and instrumentation valves.
Unsure which adaptor size you need? Measure the diameter of your valve stem as indicated in the image below.
This locking device is designed to suit all small diameter needle and instrumentation valves with a stem diameter up to 8.0 mm The device fits to the valve by first removing the existing handle or knob which is replaced with a special adaptor, secure to the valve without the need for modifications. Once fitted, the device allows the valve to be turned in the usual way by applying light pressure downwards on the knob. With the padlock fitted, the drive mechanism is disengaged and the knob spins freely without turning the valve.
Choose the adaptor size to suit the stem diameter of your valve. Standard sizes available, 5.0mm, 6.0mm, 6.3mm (1/4″) and 8.0mm
